Proyecto Inmigrante will be offering the completion of form N-400 at our offices and citizenship events.

Who is eligible?

To apply for the citizenship through Naturalization you must:

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Be a lawful permanent resident for at least 5 years.
  • Be a lawful permanent resident for 3 years if currently married to a U.S. citizen.
  • Speak, read, and write in English.
  • Knowledge and understanding of U.S. history and government.
  • Be able to prove good moral character.

What information must you bring when you show up at your appointment?

The following information is necessary to complete your application.

  • Permanent Resident card, driver’s license and Social Security card.
  • Previous addresses for the past 5 years.
  • Previous employments for the past 5 years.
  • Trips outside of the U.S for the past 5 years
  • Information about your children.
  • Information of marriages.
  • Criminal record.

You may download and complete the intake before your appointment to streamline the process.
